Wikki Tourists technical adviser Bala Abubakar has reaffirmed his commitment to building a strong and competitive squad for the 2026-27 season.

The Bauchi-based club is currently holding a screening exercise to identify and recruit new players ahead of the new campaign.

Abubakar also appealed to fans, the Bauchi State Government, and the club’s management for their continued support as the team aims to return to the Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL).

“With the support of our fans, the government, and the club management, we are determined to build a strong and competitive team capable of returning Wikki Tourists FC to the Premier League, by the grace of God,” Abubakar told the club’s media team.

As part of their preparations for the new season, Wikki Tourists will take part in a pre-season tournament in Katsina.

The club was relegated from the NPFL at the end of last season and will compete in the Nigeria National League (NNL) during the 2026-27 campaign.
