Nollywood Actress Adunni Ade Loses Mother
Nollywood actress Adunni Adewale, popularly known as Adunni Ade, has announced the death of her mother, who passed away on October 18, 2026, after a prolonged battle with an undisclosed illness.
The Nigerian-American actress announced the sad news in a lengthy post shared on her Instagram page on Monday, October 19, describing her mother’s death as a painful loss.
In her message, Adunni expressed her grief while acknowledging her submission to the will of Almighty Allah.
“With a heavy heart and submission to the will of Almighty Allah, I announce the passing of my beloved mother, who returned to her Creator after a long battle with illness,” she wrote.
The actress also disclosed that details of her mother’s funeral arrangements would be announced later.
“Details of the funeral arrangements will be communicated in due course,” she added.
According to reports , Adunni Ade was born in New York to a Yoruba Nigerian father and a German-Irish mother.
