Not Every Marriage Is Toxic – Actress Mo Bimpe Fires Back At Critics
Nollywood actress Mo Bimpe has responded to critics who questioned her interaction with fellow actor Jide Awobona in a video shared online.
The actress reacted after a one-minute clip of her conversation with Awobona attracted comments from social media users, with some people describing their interaction as unusual.

Bimpe said people were reading too much meaning into what she described as a normal conversation between friends.
“The fact that so many of you found that interaction strange says more about the relationships you’re used to than it does about mine,” she wrote.
She stressed that not every marriage is toxic, noting that some relationships are built on trust, friendship, respect and confidence rather than fear, insecurity or constant monitoring.
Bimpe also defended her husband, saying her brief conversation with Awobona, whom she described as a family friend, had no negative effect on her marriage.
“My husband is a secure man. A brief conversation with a family friend does not threaten our marriage or require anyone’s concern,” she said.
The actress added that healthy marriages still exist, while acknowledging that some people may find it difficult to relate to such relationships.
