NWFL: Edo Queens Sign Ikenokwalu From Rivers Angels

Reigning Nigeria Women Football League (NWFL) champions Edo Queens have completed the signing of defender Ifeoma Ikenokwalu from Rivers Angels.

Ikenokwalu joins the Benin-based club after an impressive 2025-26 season with Rivers Angels.

The defender played an important role in helping Rivers Angels qualify for the Super Six playoff tournament last season.

Her move to Edo Queens is part of the club’s plans to strengthen the squad ahead of the WAFU B Women’s Champions League qualification campaign.

Edo Queens are also expected to announce more new signings in the coming weeks as they prepare to defend their NWFL title next season.
