NWFL Nationwide Championship Draw Unveiled

Twelve clubs have been drawn into four groups for the 2026 Nigeria Women Football League (NWFL) Nationwide Championship, DAILY POST reports.

The competition is scheduled to take place in Aba from Saturday, August 15 to Sunday, August 23, 2026.

At the end of the tournament, two teams will earn promotion to the 2027 NWFL Championship.

Group B

• C2E Sports Academy

• Bayelsa Princesses

• Lakeside Queens

Group C

• Onimarg FC

• Ubakala Babes

• NAF Queens of FCT

Group D

• Plateau United Queens

• Obosa Football Academy

• Osklean FC

The NWFL Nationwide Championship is the third tier of women’s football in Nigeria. It provides a pathway for clubs to progress to the NWFL Championship and eventually reach the top level of women’s football in the country.
