Osimhen named among current best three strikers in Europe

Former Sierra Leone international Michael Lahoud has named Galatasaray striker Victor Osimhen among the three best strikers in Europe at the moment.

Lahoud made the statement while giving his assessment of Galatasaray’s chances of making a strong impact in the Champions League this season.

According to him, Osimhen’s partnership with new teammate Rafael Leao could give the Turkish champions enough attacking quality to finish among the top eight teams in the Champions League league phase.

“Galatasaray has arguably the best striker in Europe right now alongside Harry Kane, Kylian Mbappe and Victor Osimhen.”

Lahoud also highlighted the arrival of Leao, describing the Portuguese forward as a major difference-maker who could give Galatasaray an extra advantage in Europe.

“I stand on business when I say that the numbers don’t lie when it comes to the Champions League. But the fact that Galatasaray have Rafael Leao, I think that becomes a real X factor.

“Galatasaray will finish the Champions League league phase in the top eight this season,” Lahoud said via CBS Sports Golazo Network.

Osimhen will now be expected to lead Galatasaray’s attack as they aim to make a deep run in the Champions League, with Lahoud backing the Nigerian and Leao to play a key role in their campaign.
