The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) has uploaded 40% of the results of the ongoing Osun State governorship election on its Result Viewing Portal (IREV).
The report from the portal indicted that 1,517 out of the total submitted 3,763 results have so far been uploaded.
The result so far uploaded represents 40.31 percent.
INEC began the uploading a few minutes after fArobeats singer, David Adeleke, popularly known as Davido, queried the delay in the uploading of results.

In a series of posts on his X account on Saturday, the singer called on the electoral body to ensure transparency and provide timely updates on the election results.
“INEC, it is now 2:33 p.m., yet no result has been uploaded to the IReV portal. What is the delay? Nigerians deserve transparency and timely updates,” he wrote.
Davido also urged voters to remain at their polling units until their results had been uploaded to the IReV portal and to ensure that figures were entered on the electronic EC8A result form.
“Make sure your polling unit results are uploaded on IReV in your presence and make sure the figures are entered on eEC8A (electronic EC8A). We will follow our votes bumper to bumper!” he posted.
