A fellow pastor, Rinkyer Asaph, disclosed the incident in a post shared on the Christian Daily International social media platform on Monday.
According to Asaph, Kundul was bitten by a venomous snake and later died at Sabon Gida Clinic while receiving treatment.
He also claimed that at least two other Christians had died from snakebites in the community within the past week.
Asaph expressed concern over the growing number of snakebite incidents in Gamakai, describing the situation as a serious public health threat.
He noted that Gamakai is an important agricultural area where many residents depend on farming for their livelihood and food supply.
According to him, the increasing deaths could make farmers afraid to enter their farmlands, potentially affecting agricultural activities and food production in the area.
Asaph called on the Plateau State health authorities and other relevant agencies to urgently intervene and investigate the reported increase in venomous snakes in the community.
He stressed that residents should not continue dying from snakebites that could potentially be prevented or treated, describing the situation as an emerging public health emergency requiring urgent action from local, state and federal authorities.
