Phyna Sues Carter Efe, Davrel For ₦500 Million Over Sex Allegations

Former Big Brother Naija winner Phyna has filed a ₦500 million lawsuit against content creators Carter Efe and Davrel over allegations they made about her.

The dispute began after Davrel claimed that Carter Efe had described Phyna as being “of no benefit.” Phyna responded by calling Davrel out over an unpaid debt.

The disagreement later escalated when Davrel accused Phyna of making sexual advances toward him and alleged that she asked him to introduce her to his father.

During a heated exchange that circulated on social media, Carter Efe also claimed that he had been intimate with Phyna.

Reacting to the allegation, Phyna asked, “Me and you sleep together?”

Carter Efe replied, “Yes. I will bring all the evidence out.”

Phyna immediately responded by saying both Carter Efe and Davrel would hear from her lawyer.

Speaking during an Instagram Live session on Thursday night, Phyna apologised to her fans and said the incident had changed her perspective.

She admitted that her approach to online streaming had exposed her to repeated disrespect and said she had decided to stop handling such issues casually.

According to her, false claims involving her personal life and relationships were lines she would no longer tolerate.

Phyna revealed that legal documents had already been served to both Carter Efe and Davrel, urging them to check their emails and WhatsApp messages.

She also said she had realised that reacting emotionally to online controversies often shifted attention away from the original issue, making her appear to be at fault.

Carter Efe later confirmed that he had been sued for ₦500 million over the allegations.
