Sheggz Confirms Breakup With Bella, Denies Cheating

Former Big Brother Naija housemate Sheggz has confirmed that his relationship with fellow reality TV star Bella ended in January 2026.

Sheggz also denied cheating on Bella, saying he decided to address the controversy after staying silent for a long time out of respect for his family.

In a lengthy statement, he said he values family, friendship, integrity and his faith, while also denying allegations that he is an abuser.

Sheggz revealed that much of 2025 was difficult for him because of health challenges that resulted in him spending considerable time in and out of hospital.

According to him, he returned to Nigeria in October 2025 after receiving treatment and recovering in England. He said it was around that period that he became aware of information that made him question the honesty in his relationship.

He claimed that he had given several opportunities since 2024 for the truth to be revealed but was eventually forced to reconsider the relationship because of trust and respect issues.

“For clarity, I did not cheat on Bella and I have been single since January 2026,” Sheggz stated.

He said the relationship officially ended in January 2026, although they later attempted to reconcile.

Sheggz explained that he had genuinely hoped to marry Bella and even bought an engagement ring because he believed they had a future together.

“I genuinely wanted the relationship to work. I even went as far as purchasing a ring because I believed in the possibility of a future together,” he said.

However, he said the trust issues eventually made it impossible for him to continue considering marriage.

Sheggz added that he does not want a public fight or exchange of accusations with Bella and said he wishes her well despite the painful end of their relationship.

“I have no desire for hostility or public back-and-forth. I simply want to move forward peacefully with dignity and respect for everyone involved. I wish Bella nothing but the best in life and I hope we can all eventually move on with grace,” he said.
