Some Nigerian Artistes Use Voodoo To Get Hit Songs – Odumodublvck Claims
Popular Nigerian rapper Tochukwu Ojogwu, professionally known as Odumodublvck, has alleged that some artistes in the Nigerian music industry resort to voodoo in their efforts to secure hit songs.
The rapper made the claim during an appearance on the Tea With Tay podcast, where he discussed the challenges of producing commercially successful music.

According to Odumodublvck, getting a hit song is not easy, noting that some artistes spend their entire careers without recording a single major hit.
He also suggested that the pressure to achieve success sometimes pushes artistes to desperate measures.
“Getting a hit song is not easy. Sometimes people even do jazz to get one. That is why you see some artists crashing out when they struggle to get a hit,” he said.
The rapper went on to praise Burna Boy, Wizkid and Davido for their ability to consistently release successful songs over the years.
He said their achievements deserve recognition, considering how difficult it can be for artistes to produce hit records repeatedly.
“Burna Boy, Wizkid and Davido have been dropping hit songs consistently for years.
“You have to respect that. Some artistes never get a hit song throughout their careers,” he stated.
Odumodublvck’s comments have drawn attention to the intense competition in the Nigerian music industry and the pressure artistes face to produce commercially successful songs. However, his allegation about some artistes using voodoo was not accompanied by specific names or evidence.
