Some Nigerian Pastors Stage Fake Miracles – Odumeje Claims

Popular Anambra-based cleric Chukwuemeka Ohanaemere, widely known as Odumeje, has claimed that some Nigerian pastors stage fake miracles in their churches.

The controversial preacher made the allegation during a recent episode of The Honest Bunch Podcast, where he expressed concern about the growing number of allegedly staged miracles in Nigeria.

According to Odumeje, the situation has become so widespread that he now avoids accepting invitations to minister in other clerics’ churches.

“Arrangees [staged miracles] in churches are becoming too much in Nigeria. That is why I don’t go to other clerics’ churches as guest minister. I have turned down a lot of invitations,” he said.

Odumeje maintained that the miracles performed in his own church could be verified because the identities of the people involved were documented.

“The miracles we do here, we see their faces. You can take their names and verify,” he stated.

The cleric further claimed that no Nigerian Christian preacher could perform miracles comparable to his, with the exception of the late Prophet T.B. Joshua, whom he described as his “father in the Lord.”
