Nollywood actor Lateef Adedimeji has opened up about the emotional journey that led to the birth of his triplet sons with his wife, actress Adebimpe Oyebade, popularly known as Mo Bimpe.

Speaking in an interview with Morayo Afolabi, the actor said he was shocked and overwhelmed with joy when he found out that his wife was expecting triplets after they had waited a long time to become parents.

According to Lateef, the unexpected news made all the years of waiting worthwhile.

He also revealed that he supported his wife throughout the pregnancy and admired her strength during the entire process.

The actor said he was present in the delivery room because he wanted to experience the special moment with his wife instead of staying away.

Lateef praised women for their strength, describing childbirth as a difficult but remarkable experience.

He said, “It was shocking for me at the same time it was a mixed feeling. When you’ve been expecting something and then it came beyond your expectations, that means the waiting was not a bad one. When you’ve been hoping and expecting and then it finally happened, you will pamper her, but she’s a strong woman.

“I cannot stay back. We did it together, we are in it together. I was right there and I saw it happen. It wasn’t an easy task. I give it up to women. Well done.”

Lateef Adedimeji and Mo Bimpe welcomed their triplet sons in May 2026 after keeping the pregnancy private.

The couple, who got married in December 2021, later announced the birth of their children on social media and expressed gratitude for the new chapter in their lives.
