Tiwa Savage Reacts As Man Says She’s Too Old To Be Called ‘African Baddie’

Nigerian singer Tiwa Savage has responded to a social media user who criticised her for describing herself as an “African Baddie” at the age of 46.

The controversy began after a man questioned why a woman in her 40s would use the term, suggesting that the description was inappropriate for her age.

He wrote: “African baddie at 40… this one no serious.”

Reacting to the comment, Tiwa Savage revealed that she is 46 and expressed confidence in her appearance, financial status and music career.

The singer also used the opportunity to announce the release of her upcoming record, titled ‘African Baddie’, which she said would be released on Friday.

She wrote:

“46, fine, paid, unbothered and dropping my super hottttt record ‘African Baddie’ on Friday. What exactly is the problem, boy?😂 #AfricanBaddie.”

Meanwhile, Tiwa Savage recently reacted after popular TikTok personalities Peller and Jarvis asked her to become the godmother to their unborn child during a livestream.

The request came during a conversation involving the singer and the couple, who are expecting a child together.

Responding, Tiwa said she would need to pray and seek God’s approval before accepting the role. She explained that she believes important decisions should align with God’s will.
