Transfer: Chelsea To Sign Nigeria’s Ahanor

Chelsea are progressing with negotiations with Atalanta over the signing of defender Honest Ahanor.

According to transfer expert Fabrizio Romano, the development comes after Ahanor agreed personal terms with Chelsea.

Ahanor was born in Italy to Nigerian parents and is regarded by Chelsea as a promising young player with the potential to develop into a top defender.

The youngster is primarily a left-footed centre-back but can also play as a left-back. His versatility makes him an attractive option for Chelsea as the club continues to build for the future.

Chelsea have already done significant business with Atalanta this summer, having signed Marco Palestra from the Serie A club.
