Transfer: Gabriel Jesus Set To Leave Arsenal

Napoli are reportedly interested in signing Arsenal striker Gabriel Jesus this summer, according to Sky Italia.

Napoli’s new manager, Massimiliano Allegri, is a long-term admirer of the Brazilian forward and could push for a move.

Jesus and Allegri also share the same agent, Giovanni Branchini, who was spotted on Friday at Napoli’s pre-season training camp in Castel di Sangro.

A meeting could reportedly take place between the parties to discuss the possibility of Jesus moving from Arsenal to Napoli.

However, Napoli would first need to create space in their squad. The club could consider selling Lorenzo Lucca, who spent last season on loan at Nottingham Forest, or Romelu Lukaku to help fund a move for Jesus.

Arsenal are reportedly willing to let the Brazilian leave for around £18 million, with the striker entering the final year of his current contract.
