Transfer: Victor Osimhen Rejects Jorge Mendes
Super Eagles striker Victor Osimhen has reportedly rejected a management offer from renowned football agent Jorge Mendes, choosing to remain focused on his career at Galatasaray.
According to a report by Ali Naci Küçük, published via Habersarikirmizi, the Nigerian international politely turned down Mendes’ offer, making it clear that his immediate priority remains his current club.
“Right now, all my concentration is on Galatasaray,” Osimhen reportedly said, indicating that he is committed to the Turkish giants despite continued interest in his future.
The 27-year-old joined Galatasaray on a permanent transfer from Italian club Napoli after spending the 2024/25 season on loan at the Turkish side, where he helped the club win the Turkish Super Lig.
Osimhen attracted interest from several European heavyweights during the last summer transfer window, including Barcelona, Paris Saint-Germain, Real Madrid, Juventus, Atletico Madrid, Arsenal, Manchester United, Bayern Munich and Chelsea.
Despite the reported interest from those clubs, the Nigerian striker remained at Galatasaray, where he is continuing his career following the permanent transfer.
