Turkey: Osimhen Moves Up To Third In Galatasaray’s Foreign Scorers Ranking

Nigerian striker Victor Osimhen has moved up to third place on Galatasaray’s all-time list of highest-scoring foreign players.

Osimhen achieved the feat after scoring twice in Galatasaray’s 4-0 victory over Erzurum FK on Friday night.

The 27-year-old overtook former Czech Republic international Milan Baros, who scored 61 goals during his time at the Turkish club.

Osimhen has now recorded 62 goals and 16 assists in 76 appearances for Galatasaray.

The Nigeria international is behind only Mauro Icardi and Gheorghe Hagi on the club’s foreign goalscorers’ list. Icardi leads with 77 goals, while Hagi has 72.

The former Lille striker also reached another impressive milestone with his latest performance.

Osimhen became the first Galatasaray player since Mario Jardel in the 2000/01 season to score at least four goals across the opening two matches of a Süper Lig campaign.
