Turkey: Salah Scores First Two Goals For Trabzonspor In Win Over Istanbul Basaksehir

Mohamed Salah scored twice as Trabzonspor defeated Istanbul Basaksehir 2-1 in a Turkish Super Lig match on Sunday.

The brace marked Salah’s first goals for Trabzonspor since joining the Turkish club as a free agent from Liverpool this summer.

It was also the Egyptian forward’s first start for the club in the league. He had previously made two appearances, coming on as a substitute against Kasimpasa before starting in Trabzonspor’s Europa League playoff first-leg defeat to Ferencvaros.

The 34-year-old opened his Trabzonspor account after taking the ball from Istanbul Basaksehir goalkeeper Muhammed Sengezer before firing it into the net.

Salah later completed his brace to help Trabzonspor secure an important 2-1 victory.
