UCL: Ademola Lookman Reacts To Atletico Madrid’s Win Over Manchester United

Super Eagles forward Ademola Lookman has reacted to Atletico Madrid’s 2-0 victory over Manchester United in the UEFA Champions League on Tuesday night.

Diego Simeone’s side secured the victory at the Metropolitano Stadium, handing the Premier League giants another disappointing result in the competition.

Atletico took the lead in the opening minute when Pablo Barrios finished off an assist from Alex Baena to put the Spanish side ahead.

Lookman began the match on the bench before replacing Julian Alvarez in the 71st minute as Atletico looked to strengthen their advantage.

The Nigerian international made an immediate impact, scoring eight minutes after coming on with a simple tap-in to extend Atletico’s lead to 2-0.

Speaking to CBS Sports Golazo after the match, Lookman highlighted the importance of the victory for his team.

“We know how big of a win that is for us,” Lookman said, praising his teammates for their performance before he entered the game.
