UCL: Osimhen shines in Galatasaray’s win over Stuttgart

Victor Osimhen delivered an impressive performance as Galatasaray secured a 2-0 victory over Stuttgart at the RAMS Park on Tuesday night.

The win marked Galatasaray’s second triumph in the Champions League group stage, following their away victory against French side Lille in their previous fixture.

Osimhen featured for the entire duration of the matchday four encounter, helping the Turkish champions secure another important result in the competition.

The 27-year-old Nigerian striker has now scored once in three appearances for Galatasaray in the Champions League this season.

Aleksey Batrakov was the standout goalscorer for the hosts, finding the back of the net twice to secure the victory.

Batrakov opened the scoring in the 12th minute before doubling Galatasaray’s advantage just three minutes later, giving Okan Buruk’s side a comfortable lead.

Galatasaray will now turn their attention to their next Champions League fixture against Aston Villa, scheduled to take place at home on Tuesday, November 24.
