UECL: Yohanna Makes Brighton Debut In UECL Draw Against Tromsø
Nigerian youngster Zadok Yohanna made his competitive debut for Brighton & Hove Albion during their 0-0 draw against Tromsø in the UEFA Conference League playoff first leg at the Romssa Arena on Thursday night.
Yohanna came on in the 87th minute, replacing Ferdi Kadioglu in the closely contested match.
Brighton dominated much of the game and created several opportunities, but they were unable to break through Tromsø’s defence.
The Seagulls recorded 25 shots during the match, with six of them on target, but neither side managed to find the back of the net.
The 19-year-old Yohanna will now hope to make his home debut when Brighton welcome Tromsø to the Amex Stadium for the second leg next Thursday.
The winner on aggregate will qualify for the league phase of the 2026/27 UEFA Europa Conference League.
