Verydarkman Challenges Davido To Speak Up Against APC In 2027

Nigerian social media activist Verydarkman has challenged Afrobeats singer Davido to maintain the same level of political activism he displayed during the Osun State governorship election in the lead-up to the 2027 general elections.

Verydarkman made the statement while questioning Davido’s current relationship with the All Progressives Congress (APC).

According to him, Davido was previously vocal in criticising the APC while campaigning for his uncle, Osun State Governor Ademola Adeleke.

He argued that Davido’s family connection to the election was responsible for the singer’s strong opposition to the party at the time.

Verydarkman said he would be watching Davido’s political activities during the 2027 elections to see whether he would maintain the same position.

He said:

“I will just be waiting for Davido in 2027 elections. That’s when I’ll be waiting for David. When them dey fight for your uncle, APC na devil. APC bad.

“You were actively campaigning against APC because your uncle, your family was involved. I will highlight two things here. Your family was involved, you were very active bashing APC. Now you don dey frolick around them. All of Una dey play.”

Verydarkman also urged Davido to use his platform to speak against the APC if he believes Nigerians are tired of the party.

He added:

“I hope say in 2027 your voice go loud. Because you involved social media and everybody was actively following the election and supporting your uncle.

“I hope say 2027 when everybody dey say them don tire for APC, I hope say that your voice go dey loud to say okay yeah don’t vote APC. I hope we will hear you that time.”
