VeryDarkMan Confirms EFCC Invitation, Shares Details
Social media personality, VeryDarkMan, has confirmed that he received an invitation from the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission.
The development followed a petition reportedly submitted to the anti-graft agency by legal practitioner, Blessing Agbomhere, of Blessing Agbomhere & Partners.
According to reports, the petition called for a comprehensive investigation into the financial activities, sponsorship arrangements, and funding sources of both VeryDarkMan and activist lawyer, Deji Adeyanju.
Reacting via his social media page, VeryDarkMan alleged that the investigation was an attempt to silence critical voices in the country.
He further claimed that members of the ruling All Progressives Congress were using legal channels to suppress public criticism of the government.
He Wrote:
“They Want To Stop Us From Speaking Against This Evil Government That Has Failed To Protect The Lives Of Nigerians. So, They Used Their People To Write Petitions.”
The social media activist maintained that the invitation is politically motivated and linked to his outspoken criticism of government policies and national issues.
