‘Where The Money Dey?’ – Portable Questions VeryDarkMan Over Burna Boy’s N200m Donation
Nigerian singer Habeeb Okikiola, popularly known as Portable, has questioned social media activist VeryDarkMan over Burna Boy’s reported N200 million donation for a school project, demanding to know how the money was spent.
Portable raised the questions in a video in which he criticised VeryDarkMan for painting portraits on a wall. He also questioned why the activist painted footballer Adebayo instead of Burna Boy, whom he claimed had provided the funds for the project.

“Burna Boy give you money, wetin you use am do? NGO money, where the money dey?” Portable asked.
The singer also questioned why VeryDarkMan painted a portrait of himself, arguing that the money was reportedly provided by someone else for the school project.
Portable further challenged the activist over the reported donation, alleging that Burna Boy had given him more than N200 million to build a school.
“You are fighting for your pocket. Burna Boy give you N200 million plus, make you build school, you go build Ashewo house,” he said.
Portable’s comments have raised questions about the reported donation and how the funds were used. However, the allegations made by the singer do not, on their own, establish that the money was misused.
