American rapper Nicki Minaj has revealed why she stopped attending church regularly.
Speaking in a recent episode of The Bryce Crawford podcast, Minaj explained that she stopped going to church after her music career became successful.
According to the rapper, her decision was not based on a change in her beliefs or faith. Instead, her busy work schedule made it difficult for her to attend church services.
She said that performing on Friday and Saturday nights often leaves her exhausted, making it hard to wake up for church on Sundays.
“Once my career started taking off, I stopped going to church. I was working on Friday nights and Saturday nights, so the last thing I could do was wake up on Sunday mornings to go to church,” she said.
Despite no longer attending church regularly, Minaj said she still maintains a strong relationship with God.
She admitted that she sometimes struggles to remain consistent in her spiritual life but continues to make efforts to improve.
The rapper also stated that her faith has continued to grow stronger over time as she develops spiritually.
