You Can’t Smoke or Appear Naked in My Music Videos – Spyro
Nigerian singer Spyro has revealed the personal standards he follows in the music industry, saying he maintains strict boundaries on the type of content and collaborations he accepts.
Speaking during an interview on TVC, Spyro said he does not allow smoking or nudity in any music video he appears in.
According to the singer, anyone working with him must respect those rules because he chooses projects that reflect his personal values.
Spyro also disclosed that he rejects music collaborations containing explicit or inappropriate content, explaining that he prefers songs with clean messages.
He said:
“You can’t be in a video with me and you’re smoking. That can’t happen. You can’t be in a video with me and you’re naked. That won’t happen. I have rules and regulations to working with people.
“I can’t be on a song that is not clean, to start with. Shoday, give your life to Christ. I said, Shoday, give your life to Christ. He said I should continue my own while he faces his. Even if he’s not with Christ, he’s coming to Christ. That’s why I’m in this industry. It’s a gradual process.”
