‘You Should Be Ashamed For Dragging Davido’ – Bashir Ahmed Faces Backlash Over Tyla Post

Former presidential aide Bashir Ahmed has faced heavy criticism on social media after sharing a photo of Grammy-winning singer Tyla holding a Grammy Award amid his ongoing online feud with Afrobeats superstar Davido.

Ahmed’s post has been linked to the recent exchange between him and Davido, with several Nigerians accusing the former presidential aide of using Tyla’s Grammy win to take a swipe at the singer.

According to DAILY POST checks, Ahmed and Davido have been exchanging words on social media amid the controversy surrounding the Osun State Government and the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC.

The former presidential aide’s post and his recent comments about Davido have attracted strong reactions from Nigerians on X, with some users condemning what they described as an attempt to mock the singer.

Some social media users also referenced Ahmed’s performance in the All Progressives Congress, APC, primary election, where he reportedly received 16 votes.

Meanwhile, @AVIEIRO accused some Nigerians of supporting Ahmed despite his political affiliation because of their dislike for Davido.
