2026 Ballon d’Or: Top favourite Kylian Mbappe arrives in London for award
Real Madrid forward Kylian Mbappe has arrived in the United Kingdom ahead of the 2026 Ballon d’Or ceremony, scheduled to take place in London on Monday night.
The France captain is among the leading contenders for this year’s award, alongside Bayern Munich striker Harry Kane and Barcelona youngster Lamine Yamal.
Mbappe is expected to attend the ceremony at the London Palladium, where his France teammate Ousmane Dembele will also be present.
Dembele is the reigning Ballon d’Or winner, although he is not widely expected to retain the prestigious individual award this year.
The Real Madrid forward enters the ceremony following an impressive weekend in which he scored twice in his team’s 2-1 victory over Barcelona.
His performance in the El Clasico further highlighted his contribution to Real Madrid as he continues to pursue individual honours.
