2026 PFA Awards: I Voted For Arsenal Player – Bruno Fernandes

Manchester United captain Bruno Fernandes has revealed that he voted for an Arsenal player in the 2026 PFA Awards.

Fernandes, who won the Players’ Player of the Year award, refused to reveal the identity of the Arsenal player he supported.

The Portugal international won the award on Monday, finishing ahead of Arsenal trio Declan Rice, David Raya and Gabriel Magalhães.

Because players nominated for the award are not allowed to vote for themselves, Fernandes had to choose another player, and he decided to support an Arsenal star.

Explaining his decision, Fernandes said:

“I won’t say who it was, but I voted for an Arsenal player.

“They were amazing, very strong and very difficult to play against. They were a team that was very successful, not just in the Premier League but also in European competition.”

Fernandes’ decision highlights the strong impression Arsenal’s players made during their successful campaign, despite being rivals of Manchester United.
