Cristiano Ronaldo now 15 goals from 1000 milestone

Al-Nassr captain Cristiano Ronaldo is now just 15 goals away from reaching the remarkable milestone of 1,000 career goals.

The Portuguese forward moved closer to the historic achievement after scoring a hat-trick in Al-Nassr’s 5-3 victory over Al-Kholood on Thursday.

The 41-year-old initially thought he had scored in the first half, but his effort was ruled out for offside before he found the net three times after the break.

Former Chelsea forward João Félix played a major role in Ronaldo’s performance, providing three assists during the encounter.

Félix first burst into the penalty area before setting up Ronaldo for a simple tap-in, adding to his impressive contribution to the team’s attack.

Ronaldo later rose brilliantly to head home and make it 4-2, with Félix once again providing the assist. The former Real Madrid star then completed his hat-trick by converting a pass from Sadio Mané inside the penalty area.
