EPL: They’re making impact, changing game – Thierry Henry singles out two Arsenal players
Former Arsenal forward Thierry Henry has praised two players in Mikel Arteta’s squad ahead of the Gunners’ Premier League meeting with Liverpool on Sunday.
Henry singled out Eberechi Eze and Noni Madueke, highlighting the influence they have had when introduced as substitutes.
The former France international pointed to their recent contributions, noting that both players have made an impact despite not always starting matches.
“Eze scored against Bayern, Madueke came on and scored against Nottingham Forest, so they are making an impact,” Henry told Betway.
He added: “They are not passengers, and usually they come on and change the game.” Henry’s comments emphasised the importance of having players who can influence matches from the bench.
Eze and Madueke joined Arsenal from Crystal Palace and Chelsea, respectively, during last summer’s transfer window.
