NPFL: Coach Olutayo unhappy with Inter Lagos’ performance against Ranchers Bees

Inter Lagos interim coach Olusanjo Olutayo has expressed his disappointment with his team’s performance in their Nigeria Premier Football League clash against Ranchers Bees.

Inter Lagos settled for a 1-1 draw against Ranchers Bees in their Matchday 11 fixture at the Mobolaji Johnson Arena, Onikan, on Sunday.

Olutayo admitted that the visitors performed better than his side and created more opportunities during the encounter.

Quyum Akinpelu and Oscar Gabriel scored for the two teams as both sides shared the points.

“All things being equal, Ranchers Bees should have beaten us, they created more chances than us and they pressed higher than us,” Olutayo told Sporting Theory.

The coach also criticised his players for failing to put into practice what they had learned during preparations for the match. “My players failed to recollect everything that has been taught in preparation for the game,” he said.
