Wayne Rooney Predicts Title Winners, Top Four Ahead Of 2026/2027 Season
Manchester United legend Wayne Rooney has given his predictions ahead of the 2026/2027 Premier League season.
Rooney, speaking with BBC Sport, has backed Arsenal to successfully defend their Premier League title this season.
The Gunners ended a 22-year wait for the league trophy last season, finishing seven points ahead of Manchester City.
Mikel Arteta’s side have already made a strong statement ahead of the new campaign, defeating Manchester City 3-0 in the Community Shield last Sunday.
Rooney believes Arsenal will once again finish as champions, with Manchester City finishing in second place.
The former England striker also expects Liverpool and Manchester United to complete the top four.
