Nigerian Actress, Atinuke Kareem Dies From Cancer
Nigerian actress Atinuke Remilekun Kareem, popularly known as Atinuke Kareem, is dead.
The actress died after a long battle with breast cancer.
Owolabi Ajasa, the Ogun State governor of the Theater Arts and Motion Pictures Practitioners Association of Nigeria (TAMPAN), announced the death on Tuesday afternoon.

In a statement shared on his Instagram page, Owolabi appreciated those who contributed financially and supported the actress during her treatment.
“We sincerely appreciate everyone who contributed financially, offered prayers, encouragement, and support towards the treatment of our dear colleague, ATINUKE REMILEKUN KAREEM,” he wrote.
He, however, announced that the actress had died despite the efforts and prayers made for her recovery.
“Sadly, despite all our efforts and prayers, Atinuke has passed on and answered the final call.
“We cannot question the Almighty God. We can only submit to His will and pray that He grants her eternal rest and gives her family, colleagues, and loved ones the strength to bear this painful lost.”
Atinuke Kareem died four months after soliciting financial assistance from the public to support her cancer treatment.
