Suspected Terrorist Surrenders To Nigerian Army Through Chadian Forces In Borno
Troops of the 152 Task Force Battalion in Banki, Borno State, have received a suspected terrorist who reportedly surrendered through the Chadian Defence Forces (CDF).
The development was disclosed by security analyst and counter-insurgency expert in the Lake Chad region, Zagazola Makama, in a post shared on his X handle.

The suspect, a man who claimed to be an indigene of Monguno Local Government Area of Borno State, was handed over to Nigerian troops at about 8:45 a.m. on Tuesday, September 8, 2026.
According to the security report, the suspect was handed over by the CM Intelligence Service of the Bargaram Division of the CDF.
The suspect is currently in the custody of Nigerian troops for profiling, interrogation and further action in line with established procedures.
The handover is part of ongoing cross-border security cooperation and intelligence sharing among security forces operating in the Lake Chad Basin.
