Ballon d’Or 2026: Lamine Yamal Charters Private Jet For London Ceremony
Barcelona superstar Lamine Yamal has reportedly chartered a private jet to attend the 2026 Ballon d’Or ceremony in London, where he will be accompanied by family members and close friends.
According to football expert Victor Navarro, as quoted by Barca News, the Spanish winger will travel separately from Barcelona’s official delegation.
The 19-year-old is expected to be one of the main attractions at Monday’s gala, having finished second in last year’s Ballon d’Or voting.
Navarro reports that Yamal made the travel arrangements to allow the people who have supported him throughout his career to share the special occasion with him.
The forward reportedly organised his own travel logistics to ensure his family and friends could accompany him to the ceremony.
Yamal has established himself as one of football’s leading young talents through his performances for Barcelona and Spain, making him a contender for the prestigious individual award.
