Carabao Cup: ‘Unbelievable’ – Arteta Praises Two Arsenal Stars After Ipswich Town Win

Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta has praised Max Dowman and Marli Salmon following their performances in Tuesday’s Carabao Cup victory over Ipswich Town.

Arteta described Dowman’s display as “unbelievable” and Salmon’s performance as “incredible” after Arsenal secured a 4-2 win at Portman Road.

Dowman was the standout player for the Gunners, scoring twice, while Noni Madueke and Mikel Merino also found the net.

Dowman’s performance attracted particular praise from Arteta, who was impressed by the teenager’s contribution and ability to influence the game.

“He was unbelievable again; some of the actions and connections that he can give us on the pitch are just a joy to watch,” Arteta said.

The Arsenal boss also praised Salmon for his display, highlighting the youngster’s confidence and contribution during the cup encounter.

“Really good as well. Again, another 17-year-old doing something incredible, so yeah, really proud of him,” Arteta added.
