EPL: He Lost Ball Many Times – Cole Criticises Chelsea’s Rogers

Former Chelsea striker Carlton Cole has criticised Morgan Rogers despite the England international scoring in Chelsea’s 2-2 draw against Hull City in the Premier League.

Rogers found the back of the net during the weekend encounter, but Cole believes the midfielder’s overall performance was below the expected standard.

Speaking on The Dressing Room podcast, Cole pointed out that Rogers gave away possession too often during the match.

“He had already scored his goal. I see him dribbling into no man’s land,” Cole said.

“He lost the ball so many times. I was like, ‘Morgan, this is not like you’. What is going on?”

Despite Rogers’ goal, Chelsea were unable to secure all three points as Hull City held them to a 2-2 draw.

Chelsea will now look to return to winning ways when they face Brentford in their next Premier League fixture on Friday.
