EPL: Lampard confirms Onyeka fit for Manchester City clash

Coventry City manager Frank Lampard has confirmed that Nigeria international Frank Onyeka is fit and available for Saturday’s Premier League clash against Manchester City.

Coventry City will travel to the Etihad Stadium to face the former champions, with Lampard hoping his side can secure their first victory of the campaign.

Onyeka missed Coventry’s 1-0 home defeat to Hull City last weekend after suffering an injury.

However, the midfielder has now recovered and is back in contention to feature against Manchester City.

Lampard confirmed Onyeka’s availability during his pre-match press conference, saying: “Frank Onyeka is available for tomorrow.”

The Nigeria international could therefore play an important role in Coventry’s midfield as they look to cope with the challenge of facing Manchester City away from home.
