EPL: Maresca Makes History After Manchester City Beat Ipswich Town
Manchester City manager Enzo Maresca has made Premier League history after leading his team to a 3-2 victory over Ipswich Town on Saturday.
The Italian became the first manager in Premier League history to win each of his first seven matches in charge, achieving the milestone with City’s victory at the Etihad Stadium.
Phil Foden scored one goal, while Erling Haaland netted twice to secure all three points for Maresca’s side in an entertaining encounter.
Maresca has maintained an unbeaten league record since replacing Pep Guardiola as Manchester City manager during the summer.
The result leaves Manchester City at the top of the Premier League table with 21 points from seven matches, having recorded seven wins, no draws and no defeats.
Maresca’s impressive start has strengthened City’s position in the title race as they continue their campaign across domestic and European competitions.
