EPL: Shearer Predicts Man Utd vs Tottenham Clash

Newcastle United legend Alan Shearer has predicted a draw between Manchester United and Tottenham Hotspur ahead of their Premier League clash at Old Trafford on Saturday.

Both teams return from the international break hoping to improve their performances and get their seasons back on track.

Manchester United head into the match in 12th position, having collected five points from their opening five league fixtures.

Tottenham, meanwhile, are struggling even more, with the North London club yet to record a victory this season and sitting at the bottom of the table.

Despite their poor starts, Shearer believes the two sides could share the points in what he expects to be a closely contested encounter.

“I think it’ll probably be a score draw,” the former England striker said.

“I think it could be 1-1 or 2-2, which I guess is a better result for the away team than it is for the home team,” Shearer added.
