EPL: They’ve An Excellent Manager – Walcott Names Team To Challenge Arsenal For Title

Former Arsenal star Theo Walcott has predicted that Liverpool could be Arsenal’s biggest challengers for the Premier League title this season.

Walcott believes Liverpool have a strong chance of competing for the trophy, especially because of their manager, Andoni Iraola.

According to the former England international, Iraola could help Liverpool get the best out of new attacking players Alexander Isak and Florian Wirtz.

Speaking to BBC Sport, Walcott said:

“Liverpool are probably the hardest team to call. Iraola is an excellent manager and if Alexander Isak and Florian Wirtz have big seasons, they could absolutely push Arsenal for the title,” Walcott said.

Arsenal won the Premier League title last season, while Liverpool finished fifth.
