Euromatch NPFL: Enyimba Boosted By Return Of Key Duo For Plateau United Tie
Enyimba have received a major boost ahead of their Nigeria Premier Football League, NPFL, matchday six clash against Plateau United, with Joel Ezra and Utum Godswill returning to training.
Ezra has been unavailable for some time after falling ill. The versatile defender played an important role for Enyimba last season, making 27 appearances for the club.
Goalkeeper Utum Godswill has also returned to training after spending three weeks recovering from an injury.
Both players are now available for selection for Sunday’s encounter against Plateau United, which will be played at the Enyimba International Stadium in Aba.
Enyimba will be hoping to build on their impressive 4-2 home victory over Shooting Stars in midweek. The result was the club’s first win in the NPFL this season.
The nine-time NPFL champions currently occupy 19th position in the league standings, having collected four points from their opening six matches.
