Super Eagles captain Wilfred Ndidi has praised Beşiktaş following their hard-fought 2-2 home draw against Crystal Palace in the UEFA Europa League on Thursday night.

The Turkish side maintained their unbeaten run in the group phase after battling back to secure a point against the Premier League club.

Ndidi opened the scoring for Beşiktaş just before half-time, marking his first goal of the season for the club.

Crystal Palace responded strongly after the break, with Yéremi Pino and Jean-Philippe Mateta scoring two quick goals to put the visitors ahead.

However, substitute Junior Olaïtan rescued a point for the hosts with a late equaliser, ensuring the match ended 2-2.

Reflecting on the encounter, Ndidi expressed satisfaction with his team’s overall performance despite their slow start in both halves.
