“Even My Cook Got A Rolex” – Davido Recounts Unforgettable Luxury Experience With A Lebanese Family

Afrobeats superstar Davido has recalled an extravagant experience he had with a Lebanese family, revealing that the family gifted him and his friends expensive luxury watches during a trip to Lebanon.

Davido shared the experience during a recent interview, explaining that he met the family while he was in Dubai with some of his friends.

According to the singer, the family invited him and his group to Lebanon and arranged a private flight so that all 15 people could travel together.

Davido said he initially hesitated because he did not want to leave his friends behind, but the host insisted that they could all come along.

“So I met this family in Dubai. They are Lebanese, and they invited us to Lebanon. So I was like, I’m here in Dubai with my friend, I brought everyone here, and can’t just leave them and travel. And the guy was like no problem; they can come along,” he said.

The singer said the family arranged a private jet for the group and took them directly to their hotel after they arrived.

He revealed that the accommodation cost about $65,000 per night, with each of his friends given a private room.

Davido also said the family spent about $50,000 on dinner before the group went out clubbing.

However, he said the biggest surprise came the following morning when he discovered the gifts prepared for him and his friends.

According to Davido, the host had bought him an Audemars Piguet (AP) watch and Rolex watches for all 15 guests.

“The next day when I woke up I went to the dining table, when I got there, not only did he gift me the AP, he got Rolex for all 15 of us. That was like the first time I was shocked. Even my cook that followed me had Rolex,” he said.

Davido described the experience as one of the most memorable gifts he has ever received, praising the Lebanese family for their extraordinary generosity and hospitality.
