Responding to the question, Skales said he would not support any of the available candidates.

His comment attracted reactions from other users, with one X user identified as Jayfreshworld suggesting that the singer may not have properly researched the candidates before making his decision.

The user wrote: “When You Say None Means You Haven’t Done Your Research, There Are Good Candidates On That List.”

However, Skales stood by his position and replied:

“To Be Honest, None! I Don’t See Any Good Candidate That Can Take This Country To A Better Place.”

The singer’s remarks have since generated debate online, with many Nigerians sharing different opinions about the 2027 election and discussing what qualities the country’s next leader should possess.

The conversation has also reignited discussions about voter confidence, political leadership, and expectations ahead of the next presidential election.

According to her, she grew up in Lagos and lived in areas such as Surulere, Yaba, and Ojuelegba, which shaped her childhood experiences.

Beverly explained that she attended Daughters Of Divine Love Juniorate in Enugu, where she became serious about the idea of joining a convent.

She Said She Was Fully Convinced At The Time That She Would Become A Reverend Sister.

She Said: “I Was Meant To Be A Reverend Sister. I Wanted To Really Be A Reverend Sister. Now, I Am Doing God’s Work In Other Ways.

“I Love How They Dress. Because I Am Meticulous And Very Neat, I Just Loved How Clean The Priests And Reverend Sisters Were. Literally, That Was It.”

She added that her admiration for discipline, neatness, and structured religious life influenced her decision at the time, before she eventually transitioned into acting and modelling.

Speaking on the BBC Africa podcast The Conversation, Ashmusy revealed that she always believed she would be married with children before reaching the age of 30 because she had many admirers while growing up.

According to her, becoming a mother has always been one of her biggest dreams, and during her younger years, she expected family life to come naturally before hitting 30.

The content creator explained that the pressure was intensified by her position as the first daughter in her family, with relatives and society expecting her to settle down early.

Despite receiving attention from numerous suitors over the years, Ashmusy said witnessing the collapse of many relationships made her more cautious about choosing a life partner.

She noted that she now prioritizes peace of mind and emotional stability over meeting societal expectations.

Ashmusy also addressed her decision to freeze her eggs, saying it allows her to make decisions about marriage and motherhood without feeling pressured by age.

“I always thought I would be married with children before I turned 30 because I had so many suitors while growing up. Becoming a mother has always been one of my biggest life goals. As the first daughter in my family, there was a lot of pressure from relatives who expected me to settle down early.

“Seeing so many relationships fail made me more careful about choosing the person I want to spend my life with. At this stage of my life, I value peace of mind and emotional stability more than trying to meet society’s expectations.

“Freezing my eggs gives me the freedom to make decisions about marriage and motherhood without feeling pressured by my age. My decision does not mean I am against marriage. I simply want to make the right choice at the right time,” she said.
