“I Would Rather Die Than Allow This Case To Die Down” – Shallipopi Calls Out Dapper Again
Nigerian singer Shallipopi has intensified his criticism of music executive Dapper Damm amid the ongoing dispute over alleged unpaid earnings involving the former label boss and some of his artistes.
Shallipopi returned to X with a series of posts challenging Dapper to meet him face-to-face and address the allegations, insisting that he would not allow the matter to be ignored.

The singer wrote, “Once it’s a mistake. Two times is a coincidence. Three times it’s a pattern. Dapper, come outside right now.”
In another post, Shallipopi said he was prepared to continue pursuing the matter until it was properly addressed.
“I would rather d!e than allow this case to d!e down. Come out, let’s talk face to face,” he wrote.
The latest comments come after Dapper recently responded to allegations made by Shallipopi, Seyi Vibez and T.I Blaze concerning their dealings with him.
Shallipopi also claimed that he had submitted evidence relating to the dispute to the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC).
He said he wants the allegations properly investigated by the relevant authorities rather than allowing the matter to remain a social media dispute.
The singer further alleged that he was not the only artiste with complaints against Dapper, claiming that nearly 10 artistes had raised similar concerns.
He also accused the music executive of avoiding him since 2024, suggesting that efforts to resolve the matter privately had not produced a satisfactory outcome.
Dapper, however, has denied the allegations and maintained that records relating to the artistes’ claims are available.
“I have nothing to hide. The records exist. The authorities have them. Let the process establish the truth,” he said in his earlier response.
Dapper also challenged the artistes to submit their contracts and financial records to independent auditors and legal professionals for a forensic review, insisting that the outcome would establish the truth.
