Nollywood actress Laide Bakare has rejected the public apology issued by her colleague, Eniola Badmus, amid their ongoing feud, describing it as fake.

Eniola had apologised to Laide on Tuesday, October 20, 2026, following criticism over her reaction when Laide’s name was mentioned during an interview with content creator Isbae U.

The actress subsequently took to Instagram to acknowledge that her reaction might have appeared dismissive and expressed a desire to make peace with her colleague.

However, Laide has dismissed the apology, suggesting that she does not consider it genuine.

Reacting in a post on her Instagram page, the actress simply wrote, “Fake apology.”

The disagreement between the two actresses has attracted public attention, with their tensions reportedly escalating in April 2025 following a public confrontation at the premiere of the movie ‘Owambe Thieves’.
