Nollywood actress Uche Ogbodo has confirmed that her marriage to her husband, Bobby Maris, has come to an end.

The actress made the announcement in a post shared on her Instagram page, saying she has no plans to discuss the details of the breakup unless it becomes absolutely necessary.

According to Uche, her main focus at the moment is healing, raising her children, and moving forward with dignity and peace of mind.

She stressed that people on social media do not know the full story behind the separation, noting that only those directly involved understand what truly happened.

In her words:

“I understand that many people have opinions about my personal life. The truth is, no one knows the full story except the people who actually lived it. Yet, social media has a way of making everyone believe they know more about someone else’s life than the people living it.

“My priority right now is raising my children, my healing—however that journey unfolds—and moving forward with dignity and peace of mind.

“I will not be discussing the details of my marriage publicly unless there is an absolute need to do so. Until then, I respectfully ask for understanding, kindness, and respect for me and everyone involved.

“Thank you to everyone who has chosen compassion over judgment.”

The confirmation comes days after the actress shared a series of emotional posts that sparked speculation about trouble in her marriage. She had spoken about being emotionally exhausted and questioned why women are often criticized for admitting they are tired of a marriage.

With her latest statement, Uche has confirmed the end of the relationship while asking fans and the public to respect her privacy as she focuses on healing and caring for her children.
